VCA Cats Only cared for our cat with compassion. The team made sure our gum was comfortable during end-of-life care. We are grateful for the care and kindness our cat received during her final months.

I just moved to Vancouver and I'm so glad I found Cats Only! They take such good care of my beautiful 4 year old Calico gloves. The customer support team is very friendly and helpful, the technicians and vets take the time to explain things clearly and understandably. Most importantly, I feel like my girl is really captivated. When we visited she was cared for and loved, she even snuggled with one of the staff members during her vaccinations. It really shows that the staff cares and loves the cats! Thanks CatsOnly!

I've been taking my cat to Cats Only since I moved to Vancouver in 2009! They have always shown the utmost care and are never too busy to answer any of my questions. They always let you know how much something costs and what treatment options you have. I would not trust any other veterinarian to care for my cat. I also have my cat in the guest house for both short and long stays and I appreciate the regular updates! At Cats, only your cats are in good and loving hands 🥰

I cannot say enough good things about my experience (and my kitties) at Cats Only. Reception staff are very friendly and welcoming. The assistant and veterinarian who looked after my cats were very thorough and guided us through every aspect of the visit. My two cats are very nervous at the vet, but they updated me with pictures and they looked very comfortable there. dr. Ko was so sweet on the phone and it's obvious how much he loves his job and cares about his patients. He provided me with a clear treatment plan and made sure all my questions were answered.

We had a great experience using the VCA for my cat's dental surgery. dr. Ko was great at dealing with the hiccups of an unexpected feline asthma situation when she was first anesthetized and didn't react well. They made a second attempt and in the end it was a successful removal of the dog and Dr. Ozeki made sure my cat took the anesthesia well. dr. Hunt did some post-op follow-up checks. Overall, great attentive staff.

They take great care of our two cars, all of the staff are knowledgeable and extremely informative! We know that our cats receive the best possible care.

My kitties have been attending VCA Cats Only for 5 years. The staff put my fearful cat at ease and helped make visits less stressful. The technical team was patient and showed love and comfort to my kittens. Hiding was fine. dr. Larissa and Dr. Kevin discussed the current plan, why it was recommended, and the steps to complete it. They let me decide what we would do each visit. I always felt supported by the entire Cats Only team.

Great clinic, fantastic vets and assistants. We receive all of our non-emergency visits here, Dr. Ozeki is our favorite vet! ALL the staff are very friendly and speak clearly about all treatment options, from basic health to dental and nutritional care, to end-of-life care that takes into account quality of life and knows when it's time. They always check our cats for visits that require actual treatment, including weekends, and respond to calls for advice the same day (and advise emergency vets if very urgent, waiting). Very recommendable!

I recently changed vets and I couldn't be happier! Dexter can be very moody and hates going to the vet. The vet and technicians here treated him very well. It was very easy and probably not as traumatic as it usually is for him. Very recommendable!

I just want to thank all the cats for just their love and support for my furry family over the years. dr. Most importantly, Ozeki has given my mom and me time to be with our beloved Cookie, who unfortunately has an aggressive form of cancer and had to be put down earlier this year. They are all a wonderful and loving place. I know that many people are not satisfied with the prices and services they receive, but the most important thing for me is the quality of service. Of course, I can't afford to pay a lot, but I prefer this team to work with my pets because I know firsthand that they would do their best there and treat my pets as if they were their own. They are very dedicated to what they do and are held to a higher standard than anywhere else in Vancouver. I recommend this hotel to anyone with a kitten. Many clinics don't know how to treat cats and often don't do it right. Only Cats is fearless and treats cats from exotic to domestic breeds on a daily basis. They use treats, food and towels for exams, they don't rub or poke the cats. And we all know that some cats aren't easy to handle and that's why they try anti-anxiety medication first and everything else first, before even mentioning sedation. They are not trying to take money from you, they are not trying to sell you stuff to make more money. Testing, like everything else, costs money. You have to look at what they are offering, not the dollar amount. Ask questions and share your concerns. They will answer you without judging. They will work with you, not against you. I trust them with my family life and you should too. Visit them and you will see how realistic this place is.

I have an arthritic cat who is a real challenge and the team at VCA cats only are so knowledgeable and amazing. They are so nice and kind to my cat and she is a real problem. Honestly, I wouldn't go to any other vet clinic.

dr. Kevin saved our cat's life, if we hadn't followed our instincts and gotten a second opinion we would have lost him last spring, but he's still going strong! dr. Kevin is empathetic, patient and caring - so glad I found him and especially grateful Ben had him! Very recommendable.

The VCA team is AMAZING! Everyone there knows my cat by name and he feels very comfortable with everyone there. dr. Larissa is amazing. 100% recommendable.

We just found our perfect vet! dr. VCA Cats Only is an amazing veterinary clinic. My cat is 16 years old and in March he started to get sick. All the vets and staff are fantastic. They always answer my questions on time, even on weekends. I have no words to describe how much Dr. Larissa Ozeki is special to us. He always helps me when my cat gets worse. The attention he always has with me comforts me when I need it. She is more than a veterinarian, she is our friend. Thank you VCA for serving us so well. Again, I have no words to upset you. Only those who have knowledge of animals are important when counting.

Great place... as this was the ONLY vet clinic on the lower mainland that ALLOWS you to COME WITH your kitty and stay for the checkup/visit. The only downside is that this clinic is very expensive. Even going through the gate is over $80... .

This clinic is by far the best and most professional I have ever been to. dr. Hunt took the time to listen to me and explain things to me. He thoroughly and thoroughly examined my cat. No rush, even with a free initial checkup for new patients. And it's really cute too!! I will definitely be going here from now on. I wish they had seen dogs too. I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!

I met with Dr. I met Kevin and he was amazing! Very kind and patient with my two special needs kitties. He didn't make me feel guilty about decisions I made regarding medication. I said I couldn't give my cat a dose of inhaler twice a day and she started hiding from me. He agreed that quality of life was important and that it was okay to stress it out with the inhaler. My other kitty needs a teeth cleaning and at least one tooth extraction. Someone reached out to me to create a monthly payment plan without me having to ask! This is a game changer! A great experience.

I've been to several vet clinics in Vancouver and after being at Cats Only I will never go to any other. dr. The Doctor. Kevin Ko and Dr. Larissa are incredibly talented, caring, meticulous, and caring veterinarians. Everyone answers all my questions, calls me when I have questions, and never rushes me when I ask questions. All of the vet assistants are equally wonderful and make sure my cats are comfortable and happy. I completely trust them with the care of my pets. I recommend your services to everyone.

If you want the best care for your cat, this is the place! I could write for hours but these people have given me two and a half years with my cat when perhaps she should have been less than a year old. They are the best in my opinion! If you want the best care for your cat, this is the vet you want to go to. I recommend Dr. Kevin Hunt. They offer a lot of research on options if your pet is sick. I have never felt that the price has been reduced on any of my visits for my older cat.

It was my first time taking a pet to a vet and I had a great experience. dr. Hunt was friendly, patient and knowledgeable - he answered all my questions and I left feeling like I had a clear understanding. He also wrote me a prescription for a drug instead of selling it to me, because he was sure he could get it cheaper elsewhere. Excellent customer service (and cat!).

I have always taken my cat Midnight to Cats Only for the last 6 years of her life. The care I received, especially from Dr. ko and Dr. Larissa, was incredibly welcoming, personable and professional. It's on a level far above any other vet I've used in the city. Midnight has had a lot of issues over the years and they really made me feel like I was in good hands. The entire team at Cats Only was super friendly and kind. I was always offered service options and was never pressured. I would never take my cat to any other Veterinary Council more than once. Sadly, I had to put Midnight to sleep last week at 18.5. dr. Ko made the experience incredibly human and dignified. I'm so glad I brought it to her on her last breath. Today I received a condolence card signed by everyone at the clinic and it really touched my heart. Thank you just cats. If I get another little friend, I'll definitely bring him back for you to take care of.

The entire staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about cats. They greeted my kitten in a very nice and polite way so my kitten wouldn't get scared. The team gave my kitty an amazing "first experience". The vet and resident vet were very professional and made sure I knew exactly what to look for and how to care for my kitty. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a vet.

I like the care I receive from Dr. get ko. She cares a lot about cats and is very easy to talk to. I have taken my cat since she was a kitten 9 years ago.

I have always had great care for my cats at this clinic. Veterinarians are patient and willing to explain what is going on with the cats and provide a lot of information when questions are asked. The reception technicians are also very well trained and helpful.

We have taken our cat to Cats Only for about 4 years now. The clinic is very welcoming and pleasant. We often go there for nail trimming, daily check-ups and in case of unforeseen emergencies. The technicians are very friendly and the veterinarian, especially Dr. Larissa, loves and takes care of our cat very well. When my cat is not feeling well, everyone shows genuine empathy. Our cat is very uncomfortable when it comes to cutting her front nails and everyone makes sure my cat's nails are fully trimmed as conveniently as possible. Our cat has also had some issues over the past few years and Dr. Larissa really has the best interest in making sure our cat is diagnosed correctly and has made a full recovery. She went out of her way to call us and check in on our cat in person, plus the staff followed up on calls to check in on our cat. We trust our cat's health. I have dr. I recommend Larissa from Cats Only to our friends. She is the best!

My wife and I couldn't be happier with Dr. Kevin and his team. This is the only place you can take your cat and the staff are more than friendly and helpful. He has been very helpful with our cat over the last few months and my only regret is not bringing my cat here sooner.

They were helpful, everything I talked to or went to was overpriced considering there was nothing wrong with my cat. Just creates more sleep in your eyes than the info was $2.20

They treated Mila and Blu with the utmost love and care as if they were their own. When our Mila passed away a few weeks ago, we couldn't think of anyone to prepare her one for her and I remember another one besides Cats Only Hospital via Until We Meet Again (another highly recommended place if your pet has passed away). We just got home taking our baby Blu to Cats just for her pictures and an exam and they were so adorable. A very special thanks to Dr. KO, Amanda, and forgive me if I misspelled her name: Emeyal (curly hair). See you in 4 weeks for the Blu Booster Shots!!

I recently adopted a second cat and brought him here for an initial checkup. Booking an appointment was very easy and once I got there the staff were very well organised, friendly and helpful. On top of that, as the adoption was from the SPCA, I was not charged for this first consultation, which I think is a fantastic program! I would absolutely recommend this facility and will definitely be moving my other cat to this clinic so she can receive the same great service.

I can't thank the team here enough, such a lovely atmosphere and everyone is so friendly. I'm so happy that Dr. Ozeki takes care of my cat, and although he doesn't like to travel, he loves the attention he gets during appointments. Transparent billing with estimation and options provided in advance before treatments/procedures are decided. Thank you very much!

This is by far the best cat vet in Vancouver. The service and attention to detail with customers and our lovely cats is outstanding.

I brought my cat in for a diagnosis related to sudden onset alopecia. I booked the appointment online five days in advance with no problems and they called me 48 hours before confirmation. The on-site experience was pleasant and hassle-free. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and took the time to explain the possible causes of my symptoms while explaining my treatment options. I was particularly impressed with the aftercare and aftercare. Cats Only is on the higher end of the price spectrum, but for good reason.

Cats Only is wonderful! I've been bringing my cat Sam, who has feline tools, to Cats Only for just over a year now and I've been very pleased with their service. I really appreciate how kind and loving they are to the cats and try to create a calm and stress free environment for them. Sam recently had some teeth knocked out. He made a quick recovery and I had three free follow-up visits. I really appreciate how thorough Dr. Janet MacLean is there to make sure Sam doesn't get infected, especially since he has feline AIDS.

We've been customers here for two years now with a kitten/cat in need of help. Our cat has stayed at the Cat's Only "Hotel" twice and has been seen by multiple veterinarians for a variety of reasons, from an exam to a medical emergency. They even helped us get all the paperwork to get our cat abroad. Honestly, I only have good things to say about all the staff that work here, including (and most importantly) the receptionists and vets who went out of their way to make me and my cat comfortable.

They are all friendly and helpful. If the location works for you, I recommend it. Amazing place.

VCA took such good care of our little one!

Before, I only visited cats. Until my big, fat, beautiful cat died at age 16. You saved his life so many times. I'm very grateful... Now I'm back with a young, skinny cat, just to check it out. I hope I don't have to visit them too often, but they have my trust. doctor Ko is my Dr. favorite! I wanted her to be my doctor. This time I met Dr. Kevin, who also seemed very nice and competent. I strongly recommend them.

We've had such good experiences here on every visit. Everyone here is loving, kind and very competent. I cannot recommend it more!

dr. Kevin Hunt is the best! He was absolutely wonderful and took such good care of my elderly cat Xander. When she first saw him, she gave him a thorough exam and was very patient and kind. He was very good with my old man, explained everything he was doing and didn't pressure me to do any tests that I thought were unnecessary. Ultimately, Xander had some health issues, and although I was pretty upset, Dr. Kevin for making me feel so much better, offering a treatment plan and reminding me that his diagnosis was not a death sentence. Xander came in for mouth surgery a few days ago. When I left him, Dr. Kevin detailed everything he was going to do, answered all my questions, and made me a lot less worried about the procedure. He called me after the anesthesia and advised me not to have a biopsy (which saves me a lot of money!), then called me after the procedure to say everything was fine. When I picked up Xander, Dr. Kevin came back to explain to me what he had done, how he received his medication, what recovery would be like, etc. Xander's surgery couldn't have gone better and I'm so glad it did. Kevin would! The next day I got two more calls from the vet to see how my son was doing. I told him that I hadn't eaten much and was a little lethargic and about an hour later I got another call from Dr himself. Kevin, who asked me to call him in the morning to let him know how Xander was doing and to take him to see if anything had changed. The next day I got another call and Dr. Kevin was happy to hear that my son was doing better. We agreed not to take him to the exam, but I was really happy to have that opportunity and it definitely calmed me down and made me feel better. Honestly, I couldn't have found a better vet. dr. Kevin is amazing and so kind. I trust him 100% to take care of my cats. I am so glad I found this office online and would recommend Dr. I highly recommend Kevin (and the rest of the amazing team) to anyone looking for a great vet!

My first time at this new location. I was scared when I walked in, but I felt very comfortable with the staff, including reception. Very friendly. dr. Ko, Cari and Aishling were with me during my visit and I cannot praise their help enough. I felt like I was in the best hands I could be in. He trusted them and allowed them to touch any part of his body without biting him! dr. Ko is honest but positive. Thank you all.

I've been taking my cat to Cat's Only for over 6 years and I swear they love my cat more than me! (and I love him so much) I can always hear her talk to the kittens in her care and make sure they are comfortable. The staff and veterinarians are very attentive and competent. They love cats and it is evident every time I go to the clinic as everyone loves to pet my cat and is very upset when he is not doing well. I bring my cat to Cats Only several times a year and I know she is loved and cared for. The crew even takes pictures for me of the fun things they do. My cat has had some health issues over the past few years, he is my best friend and I wouldn't trust him anywhere else. dr. Larissa (and all the staff and doctors) always have my cats best at heart and I believe she is in the best of care. I get follow-up calls to see how she's doing and the team is always keen to see how she's doing and make sure she's okay. I have recommended Cats Only to many of my friends and I think they are the best veterinary clinic in Vancouver. You won't find a more caring and knowledgeable staff than at Cat's Only.

We've been going to Cats Only with our son for four years now and have had nothing but positive experiences each time. The doctors and staff care a lot and it shows! We once had a horrible experience when our (domestic) cat escaped from its cage right in front of the clinic! He flew across four busy lanes on West 4th and hid in the park. One of the staff went out in the rain, helped us locate it, and managed to get it for us. I will always be grateful to you for helping us get him back. She is just one example of the wonderful people who care for our fur baby.

Incredible service from the entire team at VCA Cats Only Clinic. It was very difficult to let my kitten go there due to illness, but the whole team supported me and my partner throughout the process. I cannot say enough good things about our time with the team and would recommend them to anyone.

My late cat was incredibly difficult at the vet and although she still hated going, the staff at Cats Only made getting her in for routine checkups much easier and tolerable and were always great about keeping her under control and preventing accidental bleeds. The exam rooms are always clean and comfortable for humans and cats alike, and I can't say enough good things about the staff. It's a specialist clinic, so yes, it may cost a little more than other vets, but for me it's worth it for the care my cats receive. Added bonus: no dogs around to scare the kitties. And it never has the smell that many clinics do - cleanliness is, of course, a high priority. Regarding cost, veterinarians always let you know in advance how much things will cost and what alternatives may exist for certain medications or procedures. I've always had good experiences with everyone at Cats Only.

I have a regular vet in our old town and have heard good things about this place just down the road from our new home. You definitely know how to treat cats. There is a Feliway in the waiting room where I had a few minutes to acclimate my disgruntled kitten. She tends to freak out, and she still does, but I had warned her and the technology was well prepared. They had a bowl of fresh catnip and a little toy that he finally came home with. They were all very knowledgeable. The cost was a little higher than my regular Richmond vet, but it was worth it considering they know your furry feline friends.

This clinic was one of the best things that happened to me since I lived in Vancouver. After going to several vets in the area when my 5 year old cat Brando started walking, no one could explain what was going on. We were scared and wanted nothing more than to find out what was going on. Immediately after our first appointment with Dr. Larissa, I knew we had found something really special. As someone who has visited perhaps ten or more veterinarians over the five cats I've owned, I've never had a veterinary experience quite like this. The level of warmth and care here is second to none and I would travel to this location to meet Dr. See Larissa, no matter how far away I live. Her immediate impression after examining Brando was that he was somewhat neurological. We were referred to a neurology specialist where the waiting time before an appointment was about 4 months, but Dr. life. Today he is healthy and lives with a condition called "polyneuropathy". She is on steroids which he will have to take for the rest of his life but he will remain stable. I have since been to the clinic several times for tests and bloodwork on my first visit (where we can stay with him and watch him from behind) and they ALWAYS make a normally stressful situation that much better. I know other reviews mention the feeling of being "sold out" but I've never felt anything other than that they go out of their way to keep costs low and only do what is needed. I can't say enough good things about it.

I am very happy with the care my beloved Chevy received at Cats Only. Having a terminally ill cat was stressful enough, but my regular vet, who I've seen on 6 cats and has always done house calls on the last 2, is semi-retired and unavailable. I didn't know what it would be like to find a new vet. I couldn't be happier, Dr. Looking for Ritchie and the Cats Only team.
